TWO men have been arrested after a woman was sexually assaulted in the toilets of a pub.
The woman was attacked in the lavatories of George’s Bistro and Wine Bar in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, between 12am and 1am on June 28.
Both men, aged 18 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of sexual offending but have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Now, West Yorkshire Police is also appealing for two Good Samaritans â who helped the victim in the aftermath â to come forward.
One of the women identified from CCTV is blonde, was wearing dark clothing and was carrying a gold bag.
The other Good Samaritan had dark hair and was wearing a denim dress.
DI Sarah Bradley of the Kirklees District Adult Safeguarding Team, said: “All reports of sexual offending are treated extremely seriously within Kirklees, and specialist officers are continuing to conduct a number of enquiries into the matter and offer support to the victim.
“As part of our continuing investigation, we do wish to speak to two women who were in contact with the victim in the immediate aftermath of the offence.
“From information supplied, we believe they provided assistance to the victim and it is really important we speak to them as witnesses to assist our enquiry.”;
