A 42-year-old local man was arrested by Sussex Police on suspicion of rape and has been released on bail while inquiries continue.

The 45-year-old female victim is reported to be receiving support from specially trained officers.

Detectives are seeking to speak with a man who may have vital information to assist in their investigation.

He is described as having short brown or dark hair, wearing a light blue puffer jacket, light-colored jeans, a white T-shirt or polo neck shirt with a necklace, and white trainers.
