
POLICE have arrested two men after a woman was allegedly kidnapped and a man assaulted at a cinema.
Cops raced to the scene to reports of an incident at Vue Cinema in Blackburn on Saturday, August 9.

Lancashire Police were called by paramedics to the cinema to find a man in his 20s had been assaulted.
A woman in her 20s was also found to have been “taken against her will from the cinema”.
The force confirmed she was found safe later that evening.
They confirmed that two men, aged 22 and 37, had been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and kidnap.
They remain custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses as part of an investigation into offences of assault and kidnap in Blackburn.
“We were called by colleagues from the North West Ambulance Service at 8.47pm on Saturday 9 August to the Vue Cinema, Blackburn, to a report of assault.
“When our officers attended, they found that a man – aged in his 20s – had been assaulted, and a woman – aged in her 20s – taken against her will from the cinema. She was located safely later that evening.
“Two men, aged 37 and 22, have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 grievous bodily harm and kidnap, and are currently in custody.
“Even though two arrests have been made, our investigation is very much ongoing, and detectives are appealing for anyone who at the Vue Cinema on Saturday evening between 7.30pm and 8.40pm and saw what happened or saw anything suspicious, to come forward and speak to us.”
