A WOMAN is currently fighting for her life after falling from a moving vehicle.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident that occurred last Friday.

The authorities are requesting CCTV footage and witnesses to come forward.

In a statement, the police said: “We are seeking witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact us following reports of a road traffic incident in Sheffield that has left a woman with life-threatening injuries.

“At 6:32 AM on Friday (October 10), we received reports of a road traffic incident on Burncross Road, Sheffield.

“It has been reported that a woman in her 30s fell from a moving vehicle on the road and sustained life-threatening injuries.

“The woman remains in a critical condition in the hospital, and her family has been informed.

“A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on conditional bail while further inquiries are conducted.
