WINTER OLYMPICS gold medallist Cassie Sharpe suffered a terrifying halfpipe fall and had to be stretchered off the course.
The Canadian, 33, is a huge name at the Milan-Cortina Games after her gold at Pyeongchang 2018 and silver at Beijing 2022.
And she was firmly on course to make the final when she went tumbling during her second run in the qualifiers.
Sharpe lay motionless after losing her skis and poles in the fall, but briefly waved to the crowd while being stretchered off after receiving treatment for around nine minutes.
