PRO-PALESTINE activists have defaced a statue of Sir Winston Churchill and branded him a “Zionist war criminal” in graffiti.
The red paint scrawled on the Westminster statue also reads “Stop the genocide” and “Never again is now”.

The paint appeared overnight on the statue in Parliament Square as wardens were seen trying to cover the vandalism with bin bags.
Other phrases included “Globalise the Intifada” and the protesters reportedly wrote “Greetings from the Hague” in Dutch.
