Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Publicity and Communications to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has warned the Nigerian government to stop pardoning terrorists and bandits.

This comes in a week when ISWAP terrorists abducted and killed some soldiers including Brigadier General Musa Uba.

Uba had initially escaped from the terrorists and sent a message that he was already on his way back to base.

But he was later re-captured and killed by the terrorists.

Bandits also kidnapped 25 students from a school in Kebbi state, while there was another case of abduction and killings in a church in Eruku, Kwara state yesterday.

“Repentant Boko Haram Terrorists. Repentant Bandits,” Olayinka wrote on his X account on Tuesday.

“I think this should stop.

“No one who has committed such heinous crime as terrorism and banditry should be made to live under the guise of being repentant.”
