Why are there numbers next to players names on BBC?

On the BBC coverage of Wimbledon, there are a handful of numbers next to player names.

The first number – which not everyone has – is the player seeding.

For example, Carlos Alcaraz is second seed, so his name appears as “Alcaraz 2”; during matches.

The two bold numbers in a green box are how many games a player has won in a set, and when a player has won a set these become purple, with a new set of green numbers next to it.

The white box with purple numbers in next to the green box is the score in a game, for example 15-40 in purple.
