Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has shared his reasons for not blocking online trolls despite the persistent stream of negative comments directed at him.
Taking to his official X account, the award-winning singer and father of five disclosed that he deliberately avoids blocking critics because he wants them to continue seeing his progress and success.
According to Davido, shutting them out would deprive them of the chance to witness how far he is going in his career and personal life.
“Me I no dey block, I wan make you dey see my doings, but I go curse your papa,” he said.
The singer further clarified that while he has no problem with people monitoring his moves, he will not hesitate to strongly clap back at those who cross the line with their attacks.
Davido’s response has since stirred mixed reactions online, with many fans praising his confidence and resilience, while others noted that the star continues to attract attention not just for his music but also for his witty social media comebacks.
