SunSport can reveal why the Allianz Arena will have a different name tonight.
Why has the Allianz Arena been renamed for the Champions League final?
Bayern Munich’s home ground â the Allianz Arena â will have a new name for the 2025 Champions League final.
Their ground will be renamed the “Munich Football Arena”; for the HUGE clash between Inter and PSG.
This is because of Uefa regulations, which state the home club must provide a “clean stadium”; for fixtures.
This means there must be no branding or sponsor in the name of the stadium during the Uefa competitions.
The regulation has also seen Arsenal have to rename the Emirates whilst in the Champions League.
