In tense scenes Andrew used his ‘ask the audience’ lifeline, but they said it was either Bette Midler or Andrew Lloyd Webber.

He said: “I’m struggling to think what Andrew Lloyd Webber won an Oscar for to be honest.”

However, with his safety net set at £500,000, Andrew explained there was no chance of him risking that amount of money.

He said: “I will very, very gratefully take my half a million pounds please which sounds unbelievable. And that is my final answer.”

The TV host replied: “If you had done that you would have lost £375k.”

Jeremy then revealed the correct answer was the man he’s going on holiday with next month – C) Andrew Lloyd Webber.
