Who is performing at World Cup 2026 opening ceremony?

There are set to be THREE opening ceremonies, each before the first matches played in USA, Canada and Mexico.

Opening ceremony one: Mexico City, Estadio Azteca before Mexico vs South Africa.

Opening ceremony two: Toronto, BMO Field before Canada vs Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Opening ceremony three: LA, SoFi Stadium before USA vs Paraguay.

The first ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 11 at 6:30pm BST in Mexico, and will be headlined by Shakira and Burna Boy.

Additional performers include: J Balvin, Tyla, Mana, Alejandro Fernandez, Belinda, Danny Ocean, Lila Downs and Los Angeles Asules.

The second ceremony will take place at 6:30pm BST on Friday, June 12, and will be headlined by Michael Buble.

Alessia Cara, Alanis Morissette Elyanna, Vegedream, Jessie Reyez, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy and William Prince are also set to perform.

The final ceremony will start at 12:30am BST on Saturday, June 13, and is headlined by Katy Perry, alongside rapper Future.

They will be joined by Anitta, LISA, Rema and Tyla, with Dan + Shay to sing the US national anthem and Purahei Soul singing the Paraguay national anthem.

Jason Sudeikis, best known for his role as Ted Lasso, will welcome the fans in LA.
