Instead of the action playing out in the latest series of the streamer’s show Perfect Match, , Yamen Sanders, and Brianna Balram’s messy fight is all over . Now, amid rumours of over the mayhem, we dive into the reality romance chaos.

In a nutshell, US hunk Yamen is currently dating our Brit girl Whitney after the pair met on All Stars in January.
But back in November, he was a single on Perfect Match – where stars from the reality universe compete to find love.
So that means on TV screens across the world, Yamen is hooking up with Bri.
She’s a US firecracker who is now dating Lochan – who just so happens to be Whitney’s ex.
It’s created a drama that’s overshadowed Netflix’s big budget series – especially for Whitney and Yamen.
Fans have been gossiping about how she must feel watching her man flirt, kiss and share a bed with other women and the speculation spread so feverishly, it led to claims they have broken up completely.
Yamen seemed busy in , whilst Whitney remained in London and their interactions online seemed to lessen.
It led to sources claiming that they’d called time on their long-distance relationship.
Then just hours after that broke, Whitney seemed to put the rumours to bed when she shared subtle pictures of her chilling out in Yamen’s Los Angeles apartment this weekend.
A glimpse of some distinctive artwork, the same plate of fried egg sandwiches, a fluffy white bear.
A source says: “The one very true fact here is that right now Whitney is staying at Yamen’s. Anyone who has watched her on telly will know that she is an independent, forthright woman who would not be doing that unless she felt comfortable in that space.
“She certainly wouldn’t be flying halfway across the world to conduct a break-up conversation.”
The plot has thickened as Whitney and Yamen continue to stay clear of each other’s online content despite them being, literally, together.
Both are hanging out with other Islanders including Ciaran Davies and Shaq Mohammad but avoiding the same shot.
Why?
There is often smoke and mirrors when it comes to reality break-ups – many couples publicly cling on for the sake of the spotlight despite having called time behind the scenes.

Whitney doesn’t, however, appear to be in LA for work.
I report on Love Island and its break-ups and make-ups daily and I’m told by my sources that there are currently other couples who are more fragile than Whitney and Yamen.
But amid total silence from their friends, other Islanders, and the couples’ reps, it has been impossible for me to credibly confirm exactly how stormy their seas are.
A source says: “Whitney’s keeping everyone guessing, with some videos online hinting at a break-up, whilst separately she and Yamen are commenting on each others’ posts.
“The one denominator at the centre of this is Perfect Match and the dynamic the ex factor has added to the mix.”
So what of the other side of the situation, Lochan and Bri?

, ending in threats of a legal battle.
Whitney accused him of making a racial slur, which Lochan denied and instructed lawyers to pursue a claim for defamation and malicious falsehood.
By early 2026 they had reached an agreement to avoid court.
It came a month after Lochan went public with Bri after fans saw them looking cosy on the Tube in London.
As it stands, neither has mentioned Yamen or Whitney online.
But that could all change soon, when part two of Perfect Match drops on Wednesday and viewers get to watch Bri and Yamen hook up.
Whether Whitney and Yamen’s relationship will survive THAT is something that social media surfers await with bated breath.
