But when did the stars actually head to Scotland to film the highly-anticipated second series? Here is everything you need to know about filming.

When was The Celebrity Traitors series 2 filmed?

The second series of Celebrity Traitors was filmed during one tight block in the spring of 2026, to accommodate the 21 celebrities’ busy schedules.

Filming started at the end of May for around 16 to 18 days – it wrapped up in early June 2026.

That means the cast has been sitting on the secrets of the show’s second series for the past four months, unable to reveal .

Production company Studio Lambert has spent that time editing hundreds of hours of footage.

Contrary to popular belief, the celebrity participants didn’t actually sleep in the historic Scottish Highlands castle while filming.

Instead, they were taken away each night in individual 4x4s to sleep at the Courtyard by Marriott near Inverness Airport about 30 miles away.

To maintain secrecy and prevent off-camera plotting, they were isolated in their rooms and prohibited from speaking or interacting with one another or the outside world.
