FOOTBALL fans have enjoyed almost a month of thrilling World Cup action on their screens – but now it’s time to prepare for the return of the Premier League.
Argentina are set to take on reigning champions France in the penultimate match of the Qatar competition.

However, with a whole host of Premier League players already exiled from the competition.
Fans are itching to see them get back with their clubs in England’s top division.
When does the Premier League start after the World Cup?
The Premier League will return on BOXING DAY – Monday, December 26.
This gives clubs eight days from the World Cup final to prepare for their festive fixture before normal scheduling returns in England.
