NOTTINGHAM FOREST boss Steve Cooper slammed his side’s backfiring Twitter jibe, saying: We should be better than that.
Ahead of Saturday’s trip to Wolves, Forest’s Twitter account posted a mock-up of forward Emmanuel Dennis with some wolf cubs under the caption ‘playtime’.

And while it was later deleted, fired-up Wolves players had already shared it on WhatsApp.
Wolves hit back after their 1-0 win with a post showing a chopped down tree and the caption ‘playtime’s over’.
Cooper admitted: “It wasn’t a good move, and it wasn’t helpful. It won’t happen again.
“We know we’ve got to be better than that, we’re a club full of humility and long-standing principles.
“The club always has to strive to live up to that, whoever we are and whatever capacity. We know it was wrong.”
Cooper takes his side to Brighton desperate for a victory to try to turn around Forest’s season.
The newly-promoted side are bottom of the table, with just one win — over West Ham back on August 14.
Cooper said: “We have to face up to the reality of our league position. We can’t have the mindset of ‘we’ll be all right’, or ‘things will improve’.

“Make it happen, otherwise it’ll be the next game, then the next. Don’t look any further than Brighton — all focus has to be on doing whatever it takes to succeed there.”
Cooper also backed Brennan Johnson to bounce back from seeing his penalty saved by Wolves keeper Jose Sa at Molineux on Saturday.
The Forest boss added: “He’s a young player and it was a difficult moment. But in the end, how you respond to difficult moments is a big factor in who you become.
“I’ve got faith and belief in Brennan.”
