A PERSON has tragically died after a horror broad daylight stabbing at a council HQ near Wembley Stadium.

Officers cordoned off the Brent Civic Centre in Wembley, North West London, after the horror unfolded this afternoon.

Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service (LAS) crews rushed to the HQ at around 2.25pm.

Staff in the building, which is home to Brent Council, were also reportedly evacuated.

Air ambulance crews were among the emergency response scrambled following reports of the stabbing, according to the LAS.

A spokesperson said: “We were called at 2:25pm to reports of a stabbing at Brent Civic Centre, Wembley, HA9.

“We sent an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer.

“We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

“Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a patient was pronounced dead at the scene”.
