Rooney remarked: “I thought they were quite disappointing [against Galatasaray].
“What concerns me is that they were trailing, and it seemed like, even with time still remaining, [Slot] just placed every attacking player on the field and said, ‘go and sort it out’.
“It could have been much worse for Liverpool due to the numerous times they lost possession at the back, leading to counterattacks, and Alisson's injury.”
