“Squid Game”; has unveiled a final farewell video, marking the end of its epic three-season-long drama.
Season 3 of the hit Netflix series wrapped up the intense saga of Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae), who re-entered the deadly competition with a personal mission; Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), who concealed his identity to infiltrate the game; and the other surviving contestants who faced the final chapter of the brutal game.
On July 17 KST, “Squid Game”; released its final “Goodbye”; video, offering fans a poignant look back at the iconic series. The video revisits the haunting venues of the games as the Front Man presses a red button, causing the roof of a game arena to close and casting a shadow over the infamous Young Hee doll.
As the lights go out across all 12 game stages featured throughout the three seasons, the video captures a somber dismantling of the game world. Pink guards clean up bloodstains and pack away props, evoking memories of the desperate players who risked everything.
In the closing moments, LED lights representing each contestant shut off one by oneâuntil finally, the last light for Gi Hun goes dark. It is a symbolic and emotional finale to a series that captivated audiences worldwide and left an indelible mark on television history.
