MBC’s upcoming two-part drama “A Head Coach’s Turnover”;; has unveiled an intriguing new teaser!
“A Head Coach’s Turnover”;; is a comedy about professional basketball coach Maeng Gong (Park Sung Woong), who faces the risk of being fired due to his team’s poor performance. To turn things around, he unexpectedly teams up with his own online hater Hwa Jin (Park Soo Oh).
The newly released teaser opens with Maeng Gong watching his team and the jump ball that marks the beginning of a game. As he struggles to lead his underperforming team to victory, a voice-over from Hwa Jin says, “The final strategy for victory is you. A coach who truly cares.”;; This remark suggests the beginning of a surprising collaboration between the two men.
However, the tone of the teaser shifts when another online hater accuses Maeng Gong of manipulating game results. Tensions further escalate as Maeng Gong and Hwa Jin confront each other, with Hwa Jin saying, “Why do you think I stayed by your side all this time? I’m going to expose the match-fixing.”;;
While the reason behind Hwa Jin’s hostility towards Maeng Gong remains unknown, the coach is shown encouraging his players with determination, remarking, “I’ll do my part on the court. Let’s win and make it to the playoffs no matter what.”;; Will he be able to overcome the mounting suspicions and challenges to lead his team to victory?
