JTBC’s upcoming drama “Good Boy”; has released a longer teaser ahead of its premiere!
“Good Boy”; is a comic action drama that follows a group of young athletes who become police officers through a special recruitment program. Trading their medals for badges, they take on a world full of corruption, deception, and injustice.
The teaser opens with a look back at the glorious pasts of five international medalists: boxing gold medalist Yoon Dong Joo (Park Bo Gum), shooting gold medalist Ji Han Na (Kim So Hyun), fencing silver medalist Kim Jong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi), wrestling bronze medalist Go Man Sik (Heo Sung Tae), and discus throw bronze medalist Shin Jae Hong (Tae Won Suk)—each once celebrated as a national hero in their sport.
After those moments of glory pass, however, these athletes—now police officers through a special recruitment program—are living in a bleak reality.
Their lives take a dramatic turn when Min Joo Young (Oh Jung Se)—a ruthless villain who rules Inseong City from the shadows—emerges as their ultimate adversary. With his sinister presence and disdain for law and order, even his silhouette sends chills down the spine.
But the so-called “Goodvengers”; are not ones to back down. Channeling the fighting spirit of legends like Muhammad Ali, Yoon Dong Joo declares, “I swear, I’ll put you behind bars! Run all you want—I’ll be right on your heels!!,”; signaling his resolve to fight injustice to the very end.
The trailer ends with him saying, “Once you start, there’s no turning back. It’s time to pull the trigger and break the silence,”; setting the stage for a pulse-pounding showdown.
