JTBC’s highly anticipated drama“Good Boy”;has dropped its first teaser!
“Good Boy”; is a comic action drama that follows a group of young athletes who become police officers through a special recruitment program. Trading their medals for badges, they take on a world full of corruption, deception, and injustice.
The newly released teaser begins with a glimpse into the dazzling past of international medal-winning heroes: boxing gold medalist Yoon Dong Joo (Park Bo Gum), shooting gold medalist Ji Han Na (Kim So Hyun), fencing silver medalist Kim Jong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi), wrestling bronze medalist Go Man Sik (Heo Sung Tae), and discus throw bronze medalist Shin Jae Hong (Tae Won Suk)—each once shining brightly in their respective arenas.
But their golden days fade fast. The teaser takes a sharp turn, revealing the harsh reality they now face. Yoon Dong Joo, once cheered for his powerful uppercuts, is seen cramped in a car, stealing moments of restless sleep in the dead of night. Ji Han Na, once known for her razor-sharp aim, now forces a smile through a soul-crushing routine.
Kim Jong Hyun, once confidently wielding his fencing sword, and Go Man Sik, who overpowered opponents with fierce throws, now face equally mundane lives. Perhaps most jarring is Shin Jae Hong, who once hurled a discus across vast stadiums—now seen wearing a giant police mascot costume on the street.
Just when all seems lost, the rise of Inseong City’s most notorious villain reignites their resolve. A shadowy figure teases a formidable adversary, one not easily defeated. But the five, now dubbed the “Goodvengers,”; stand their ground.
The teaser ends with Yoon Dong Joo’s voice: “The round isn’t over until we’ve taken down our opponent,”; his fierce gaze foreshadowing a fiery, never-say-die battle ahead.
