Watch Emerson Royal’s no-look pass to NOBODY that goes out for goal-kick leaving Tottenham boss Antonio Conte stunned

THIS is the moment Emerson Royal played a no-look pass to NOBODY, leaving Tottenham boss Antonio Conte stunned.

The hilarious incident occurred during last night’s 1-1 draw with Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League.

Emerson Royal’s failed no-look pass left Tottenham boss Antonio Conte stunned

Spurs needed a win to book their place in the knockout stages, but got off to a bad start when former winger Marcus Edwards fired the visitors ahead.

Tottenham fought back in the second half and levelled with ten minutes to go through Rodrigo Bentancur.

And as the clock ticked down, Spurs continued to push hard for a winner.

Brazilian wing-back Emerson was summoned off the bench to provide some attacking intent down the right flank.

But Conte was left wishing he’d kept the flop on the sidelines.

As Emerson bombed forward ready to whip in a cross, fellow misfit Bryan Gil drifted inwards ready to receive the ball.

However, this instead prompted Emerson to attempt a no-look pass usually reserved for the game’s top technicians.

Predictably, the ball ended up going nowhere near Gil and instead went straight out of play for a Sporting goal kick.

Conte could not believe what he had seen from the Brazilian wing-back

Groans burst from the home fans, while Conte was seen looking stunned before placing his fingers to his forehead, urging Emerson to focus.

Spurs fans were furious too, with one saying: “Emerson trying that pass is f***ing embarrassing.”

Another wrote: “My head wasn’t even hot at that point, it was sent in orbit.”

One noted: “That Emerson no-look has killed me.”

Another added: “If last night achieved one thing, it deflected the attention off Emerson.”

There was joy in the dying moments though when Harry Kane thought he’d tapped in a dramatic late winner.

Wild celebrations broke out in the stands and on the sidelines before VAR intervened.

A four-minute check then deemed Kane to be offside, with his goal ruled out and Spurs now needing to beat Marseille away in their final group game.

They will also be doing it without Antonio Conte, who was sent off after the final whistle before storming out of his press conference having taken just one question.
