War: ‘You’ll pay the price’ – Pakistan reacts as India launches 24 missiles, kills at least eight

Published on May 07, 2025 at 05:46 AM

Death toll from Indian strikes on Pakistan has risen to eight civilians.

According to Reuters, a Pakistani military spokesperson made this known, adding that two further people have been reported missing with 35 injured in the strikes.

The spokesperson reported up to 24 strikes across six locations, adding that three fighter jets crashed in Indian and Kashmir territory on Wednesday.

Four local government sources disclosed this to Reuters hours after India said it struck Pakistani “terrorist infrastructure”; sites across the border.

The Pakistani government also claimed that five Indian aircrafts had been shot down, a claim not confirmed by India.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s federal minister for information, Attaullah Tarar, has told Turkish media that it is too early to talk about Pakistan’s next move.

He said the world would have to wait to see what the National Security Committee decides.

The committee is set to meet at 10am local time, 5am GMT.

Tarar said Pakistan’s response was “ongoing”; and that India would have to “pay the price.”;
