Super Falcons head coach, Justine Madugu has said his team will be up for the battle against the Copper Queens of Zambia.
Nigeria will take on Zambia in a quarter-final fixture at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on Friday.
The Copper Queens have impressed in the competition, netting six goals in their three group stage matches.
They also have the current African Women’s Best Player, Barbara Banda in their ranks, as well as talented striker Rachel Kundananji.
The Super Falcons on other hand scored four goals at the group stage.
Madugu is however unperturbed by the Zambians attacking strength.
The 60-year-old vowed that his team will find a way of neutralising them.
“We have our strategy. We’ve studied them closely. We know what they’re capable of. We’re not too concerned about individual brilliance, it’s a team game. We’ll work on neutralising their strengths,”; the gaffer told a press conference.
