WAFCON 2024: Super Falcons outplayed us – Zambia coach, Häuptle

Copper Queens of Zambia head coach, Nora Häuptle has accepted that the Super Falcons were better than his side, DAILY POST.

The Super Falcons thrashed Zambia 5-0 in their quarter-final contest at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, Casablanca on Friday.

The Copper Queens put up a timid fight in the game despite their high pedigree.

Osinachi Ohale, Esther Okoronkwo, and Chiwendu Ihezuo all scored for Nigeria in the first half.

They added two more goals in the second half through Tosin Demehin, and Folashade Ijamilusi.

Häuptle claimed they were totally outplayed by the nine-time champions.

“Very clear loss for us. Congratulations to Nigeria for the well-deserved victory. I think today we need to accept that Nigeria was better than us,”; the Swiss said after the game.
