Super Falcons defender, Oluwatosin Demehin says the team want to reclaim the title at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Justine Madugu’s side had a disappointing outing in the last edition of the competition where they finished in fourth position.

They head into the competition in a buoyant mood having recorded two wins, and a draw from their last three games.

Demehin made her maiden appearance at the WAFCON three years ago in Morocco.

The centre-back said they want to dethrone holders South Africa this time around.

“My expectation is for us to redeem our lost glory,”; she told the Super Falcons media.

“We want to become champions again, and take the trophy back to Nigeria for the 10th time.”;

The Super Falcons will open their campaign against Tunisia in Casablanca on Sunday (today).
