The Super Falcons will bank $1million for winning this year’s Women’s African Cup of Nations.
Nigeria fought back from a two-goal deficit to beat the hosts 3-2 in Saturday’s final and clinch their 10th title.
Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy scored for the Atlas Lionesses before Esther Okoronkwo pulled one back from the spot.
Okoronkwo then teed up Folashade Ijamilusi for the equalizer.
Jennifer Echegini then got on the end of a free-kick to score a late winner.
The victory will see the Falcons earn $1m (£743,000) in prize money. CAF increased the tournament prize pot by 45 percent to $3.475m.
The prize money for the winners has doubled since the last edition with the victors of Saturday’s match sharing $1m.
They also got to lift the newly-designed WAFCON trophy.
