WAFCON 2024: How Banyana can beat Super Falcons — Dlamini

Published on July 22, 2025 at 01:00 PM

Former Banyana Banyana of South Africa captain Amanda Dlamini believes the team is capable of beating the Super Falcons.

The Super Falcons have the best attack in the competition.

The nine-time champions have scored nine goals, with the defence yet to be breached.

Banyana Banyana managed to get past Senegal via penalties in the quarter-finals.

Dlamini said South Africa will need great composure to overcome the Super Falcons.

“For South Africa, I think the best way to unlock such a solid defence line of Nigeria - I think the best of the tournament so far - is just for them to show great composure in the 18-yard box,” she told cafonline.com.
