Hollie Hoath runs her fashion store Y2K fashion out of a 20ft storage container as she has too much stock to keep in her home.

On her @hollie.hoathx account, she wrote: “I’ve made nearly £2,000 this month on alone.

“And I’ve decided this year to take my seriously. And I have big plans. I have big, big plans.

“Normally January is literally my slowest month, but I’ve been putting like a hundred and million percent into this. And I’m gonna show you guys what I’ve been doing.”

She advised that you need to rake in the cash you need to “list, list, list, list” and “relist, relist, relist, and relist.”

Hollie said you need to keep your account busy and active, and things are selling, don’t give up but put them back up.

The Vinted seller advised that if items haven’t sold in a month, she will relist them to help get a sale.

She said you also need to be prepared to “accept offers like a mad woman”, as many don’t even convert into sales.

Hollie explained: “Honestly it gets to me some days I’ll have over 40 offers that I’ve accepted and only have a couple of sales.”

Her next piece of advice was about converting these offers into actual sales and said she’ll message the potential buyers saying: “I’m posting today if you want this.”

While it doesn’t work all the time, it often helps convince people to make the sale.

The Vinted whizz continued: “I find the messages a little bit annoying and so I’d like your opinion on them.

“If somebody sends me an offer and I accept it, I then just wait an hour or whatever, and I go ‘hi, babe, I’m sending out parcels today if you’re interested in this.’

“Sometimes I don’t get a reply. Sometimes I do.”

Hollie said she also sometimes uses Vinted Wardrobe Showcase (formerly known as Wardrobe Spotlight), which is a paid feature that can boost all of your listings’ visibility.

When members see your Showcase, it will highlight up to 5 items that they’re most likely to buy from you.

Many people were inspired by her Vinted success, with one saying: “as a reseller ur literally my inspiration.”

Another added: “Well done girl.”
