A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Dino Melaye, is facing backlash on social media after a video showed him and former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, enjoying a sunny getaway in Málaga, Spain, alongside Seyi Tinubu and his wife, Ben Bruce, and a businessman, Terry Waya.

The video, which has been circulating online, captured the group at a welcome party hosted by Saraya and Bawa at La Cabane, a Dolce & Gabbana-branded venue near Málaga.

In the footage, Aisha Buhari was seen among women dressed in white outfits gathered around a large bowl of watermelon, grapes and strawberries placed on ice, while the men posed casually nearby.

The video has generated reactions among Nigerians, with some commenting on Aisha Buhari’s appearance without her usual Islamic hijab, while others questioned the loyalty of the ADC chieftain.
