WHEN it comes to dog breeds, there are some that are more notorious than others.

But a vet recently revealed the surprising breed she’d never personally own – and it’s the furthest thing from the controversial XL Bully.

The nurse, called Connie, took to to explain why Golden Doodles aren’t her idea of the perfect pet.

The vet branded the fluffy pooches “neurotic psychopaths” in the clip, which has amassed over 20 million views.

In the video, Connie slammed the breed, which is a cross between a Golden Retriever and Poodle.

“They should not exist,” she firmly stated.

Some are really nice but most are bats**t crazy, neurotic psychopaths,” she continued.

The vet went on to brand the popular breed as a “genetic dumpster fire,” as they’re prone to multiple problems, like ear infections.

Not only that, but whilst their fluffy fur might look lush, it’s a nightmare to keep clean and free from tangles.

Connie also claimed she once encountered a patient that was a Goldendoodle who was particularly scary,

“Its medical notes read ‘would kill or seriously harm a small child’ because it was so aggressive,” she said.

The breed wasn’t the only one she advised against owning though, as the Japanese Shiba Inu also featured on her list.

Despite their cute looks, the vet said the breed can be unfriendly to strangers

Beagles were also a no-no for Connie due to their health issues, which can quickly add up when it comes to vet bills.

Also on the list were mini poodles because of their specific diet requirements due to frequent digestive issues.

Of course, what might make a great pet for one person could be a nightmare for another.

And choosing the perfect breed requires even more thought if you have small children in the house.

That’s why the dog experts at The Spruce Pets have also shared their “worst dog breeds for kids”.

At the top of their no-go list for parents is the Weimaraner.

They explained: “They’ve been bred to hunt big game – a class of prey that, size-wise, can look pretty similar to a child under 13.

“While this trait doesn’t mean that a Weimaraner will constantly be on the hunt when they’re at home, it does mean that they’re known to play rough with their humans.

“Particularly if they’re not getting enough exercise and attention otherwise.

Their second biggest no-go breed is a lot smaller – the Chihuahua.

These handbag might be little, but they’re known for having a nippy mouth that they’re not afraid to use.

The Spruce Pets experts said: “Because of their small size, many people assume that Chihuahuas are fit for families with small kids, but it’s quite the opposite.

“These little guys rely on their mouths to protect them where their stature can’t, reacting with barks – and sometimes bites – when they feel the need to defend themselves.
