Venezuela, who recently revealed , has jetted to Thailand with her family, where they’ve been soaking up plenty of sun and fun.

The 16-year-old, who , has been keeping her Instagram fans up to date with the family’s holiday – however, fans have raised concerns about her most recent post.

In the post , Venezuela can be seen posing next to a small tiger cub whilst visiting a tiger park in Pattaya, based in Thailand’s eastern Gulf coast.

The eldest child of looked incredible, showing off her sun-kissed complexion.

During the mini photoshoot, Venezuela, who was wearing a white crochet two-piece and simply captioned the post with a tiger emoji, was also placing her hand on the large cat .

However, online, the post has been viewed with great scrutiny, with many suggesting the 16-year-old hadn’t thought it through properly as the “these tigers are exploited and drugged”.

“This is awful! Please be aware that they drug the animals for photos with tourists, please please don’t do this and promote it,” wrote one critic.

“They drug and sedate the tigers so photos like this can be taken. It’s terrible,” another commented.

Tiger entertainment venues are increasing in popularity across the world, especially in places like Thailand.

Tourists want an up-close-and-personal, ‘once in a life-time’ encounter with a wild tiger in captivity.

Besides a worrying trend in the growing numbers of tigers involved, a shocking report laid bare the cruel conditions that these wild animals live in, and the abusive methods that make them submissive enough to entertain tourists.

While concerns about the treatment of big cats in the country have been raised for years, animal rights campaigner group Lady Freethinker (LFT) said it had found cruelty against “photo-prop” animals in recent visits to 11 zoos across Thailand, The Independent reported .

According to Elisa Allen, PETA vice president of UK programmes and operations, this quest for a cute selfie for a few likes comes with a high price.

She told The Independent: “Handling by the public subjects animals to stress, puts them at risk of injury, and can facilitate disease transmission between them and visitors.”

The expert told of vulnerable infants “prematurely torn away from their mothers” and “forced to work all day without food, water, or rest” for photo ops.

Then, when the animals become too old to be exploited as petting props, “many are slaughtered and used to make tiger wine”, which is made of their soaked remains.

But while many dubbed Venezuela’s photo-op ”sad” and felt sorry for the “poor animals”, begging her to ”remove the post”, some shared their holiday experiences in Thailand.

“I did this when we went Thailand such lovely animals,” wrote one Instagram user.

“Unbelievable,” another chimed in, with three heart-eye emojis.
