A MOTHER on Universal Credit has left people raging after she thanked taxpayers for enabling her to go out drinking.
Amy Hobson, who claimed to have once received £4,099 in just one month thanks to , expressed her love of boozing with her funds.

But not only has Amy left many furious, but she’s even been slammed by trolls as “gross” and “embarrassing” for her boast.
As well as this, many labelled the a “disgrace.”
Posting on , Amy, who described herself as “just a mum trying to get by in ,” caused fury amongst many as she gushed about her weekend plans.
In a clip that was shared online just days ago, the -based mum said: “It’s Friday, b*****s and never guess what Friday means girls? Friday means I’m going out and I’m getting p****d!”
As the filmed herself, she continued: “Love a Friday and never guess what? It’s also pay day.
“It’s day again, so I’m going out tonight with all your lovely hard-earned taxpayers’ .”
Amy thanked for filling her purse as she added: “To thank you all for your hard work and all the hours you put in to pay for me to , I’m going to have a shot and then I’m going to and say thank you to you all for your hard-earned money.”
Thanks to Amy explained that she “can enjoy a nice, stable, comfortable life.”
Sharing her itinerary for the day, the voiced her excitement for her upcoming child-free night out.
She claimed: “So yeah, that’s my plan – I am taking the [children] to , going home, going to spend a few hours with the kids that are at home, and then I’m going out on the p**s because it’s Friday and I can! So yeah, thanks everyone.”
Social media users fume
But Amy’s clip, which was posted under the username @ amyhobson10k , has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 38,000 views.
Social media users were left furious by Amy’s claims and many raced to the comments to share their thoughts.

Am I entitled to Universal Credit?
According to the GOV website, if you’re on a low income or need help with your living costs, then you could be entitled to Universal Credit.
To claim, you must live in the UK, be aged 18 or over (with some exceptions if you’re 15 to 17), be under State Pension age, and have £16,000 or less in money, savings and investments.
Other circumstances are if you are out of work, or unable to work, for example because of a health condition.
A third commented: “Absolutely gross, exactly what is wrong with the UK. So embarrassing.”
Meanwhile, someone else chimed in: “You’re a disgrace.”
Not only this, but one user fumed: “Imagine being proud of this.”
