UKRAINE has unleashed a stunning barrage of drones on Moscow – blitzing a crucial oil facility and sparking transport chaos at several airports.
All four aviation hubs in the Russian capital were forced to shut down as Vladimir Putin’s bungling air defences struggled to thwart the blitz.

The Moscow region’s largest oil hub went up in flames amid the strikes – which are aimed at crippling Russia’s critical infrastructure.
Airports were left in chaos as hundreds of flights were delayed or cancelled while passengers were ordered to take refuge in underground car parks.
Russian officials said the overnight blitz was one of the worst the region has seen.
More than 679 drones flew in during an eight-and-a-half-hour assault, they claimed.
The Volodarskаya linear production and dispatch station, a massive oil pipeline hub, was hit in the onslaught.
The facility is crucial to supplying Moscow’s main three airports – Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, and Domodedovo.
A vicious inferno tore through the energy hub in the wake of the drone barrage – marking the latest blow to Putin’s energy sector.
Relentless waves of Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil depots have sparked shortages and queues across the country.
Moscow region governor Andrei Vorobyov said one person was killed and six were injured in a drone attack.
