Earlier this month, Oliveira defeated Mateusz Gamrot, further extending his record for the most stoppage wins in UFC history to 21.

The 36-year-old is passionate about horse racing and achieved his first championship victory over the weekend in Argentina.
Oliveira shared on Instagram: “Today I fulfilled another great dream of mine, winning in Argentina.
“A fantastic journey with GORA MERMERBY ESCORPION, and it’s even more special in a prestigious event like the national race. Thank you to everyone who supports me and believes in my dreams, thank you!”
He even purchased a farm for his parents and began breeding horses using his UFC earnings.
Oliveira once revealed that he feels more anxious before a horse race than before his own fights.
He told MMAFighting in 2023: “I don’t feel nervous before a fight; I get a bit anxious as the time approaches, but for a race, I can hardly sleep.
“I stayed up all night, pacing around the house thinking about the race and praying for God’s blessing.”
