Aspinall, 32, will be welcomed back to the cage by longtime rival Ciryl Gane.

The fan favorite has not been idle during his break, diligently working in the gym and the weight room.

His efforts, particularly over the last eight weeks, have led to a heavier physique.

Aspinall weighed in at the official weigh-ins early this morning at 255lbs (115.9kg).

This is four pounds (1.8kg) heavier than his weight during his interim title defense against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 last March.

Although Aspinall is heavier, he appears leaner, thanks to a rigorous diet.

In the last four weeks of his training camp, he has adhered to a strict regimen.

A recent DEXA scan revealed he has maintained 59kg of skeletal muscle mass while losing two kilos of overall weight.
