UCL: I saw everything black, I’m lucky – Inter Milan hero, Frattesi thanks physiotherapists

Inter Milan hero, Davide Frattesi has thanked physiotherapists following his side’s UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg 4-3 win against Barcelona on Tuesday.

Frattesi scored the winner in Inter Milan’s thrilling Champions League semi-final encounter against Barcelona.

The 25-year-old midfielder almost had a blackout after celebrating wild at San Siro after scoring the winning goal for the hosts.

Speaking after the game, Frattesi admitted that he was lucky to have finished the game.

According to him, he screamed so much that he saw everything black.

“I’m lucky to have finished the game. I screamed so much that I saw everything black,”; Frattesi told Sky Sport.

“I have to thank the physiotherapists because, in recent days, I was not well, I dedicate the victory to them. It is incredible, I don’t know what to say. Tonight, the incredible happened.”;

Goals from Lautaro Martinez, Hakan Calhanoglu, Eric Garcia, Dani Olmo, Raphinha and Francesco Acerbi had ensured the match ended in a 3-3 draw after 90 minutes before Frattesi’s extra-time winning goal.
