Flamingos head coach, Bankole Olowookere says the team is fully focused on securing a place in the final of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The West Africans will tackle Colombia in the semi-final on Wednesday (today) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Goa.
It’s the first time the Flamingos will be playing in the semi-final at the competition.
Olowookere’s girls defeated the United States of America 4-3 on penalties to secure a place in the last four.
The gaffer insisted that they are determined to go further in the competition by securing a place in the final.
“We are fully ready right from the day we qualified and I believe we will achieve our aim,” Olowookere said ahead of the clash against the South Americans.
“And to achieve that, we must beat the Colombians and we are doing everything to make it possible”, he said.
The game will kick-off at 12pm Nigeria time.
