Thomas Frank’s struggling former side is away at Sunderland that Saturday, leaving the 64,000 seater stadium available.
Saudi Arabia is sponsoring the show and did great business there in 2025, with back-to-back Conor Benn fights with Jr selling out.
Fury, retired for roughly the fifth time after consecutive defeats, knows the old stomping ground well, after beating there in 2022.
And he’s buzzing to get back to the centre-squared-circle to face the bear-wrestling giant.
Fury said: “Excited to be back.
“Heart’s always been and always will be in .
“Someone go tell the king that the ace is back!”
Makhmudov, who also gets training partners to whack his six-pack with sledgehammers, said “I’m coming to deliver a war.
“Tyson Fury has been a big champion but I will be more ready than ever to leave with a massive win.”
Fury went into his Thailand training camp with a curvy dad-bod but has been dragging tree trunks around Phuket potato fields and melting off Christmas fat.
Last month – following another heavy session and being hosed down by his gym-mates – he roared: “I have already lost eight kilos.
“I was 132kilos and I am 124 today.

WHO IS ARSLANBEK MAKHMUDOV?
Tyson Fury has finally answered the big question by confirming he will return on April 11.
The next question is who is his opponent Arslanbek Makhmudov?
Makhmudov – from the Russian town of Mozdok – is a terrifying 6ft 6in heavyweight who wrestles bears and has sledgammers smashed against his abs.
The 36-year-old looks so menacing that fans have even compared him to a classic James Bond villain.
In the ring, he has 21 wins in his 23 fights, with 19 of those coming by KO, beating Dave Allen in his last bout in October.
But of course, despite his frightening looks, Makhmudov has been beaten and both of which were stoppages to Agit Kabayel and Guido Vianello.
Although he is a solid opponent for Fury to return against, having not fought since his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024.
That sparked yet another retirement for the Gypsy King – but predictably he is back – and he says better than ever.
“This is the moment when the dream comes true! And if the Lord has led this fight to me, he will bring victory for me Insha’Allah.”
Fury replied: “This was 2017 in Montreal, it was during my terrible time away from boxing.
“God works in mysterious ways and brings people together unexpectedly, whatever God has planned for us will be!”
