Conor Benn Extends Olive Branch to Eddie Hearn, Expressing Desire to Reconcile in Heartfelt Message

CONNOR BENN has sought to mend bridges with Eddie Hearn after their public fallout, admitting he would “love to sit down with him.”

, 29, ended a decade-long relationship with Matchroom earlier this year when he signed a lucrative deal with ’s .

The decision sparked a public fallout, with comments exchanged heavily by , as one of British boxing’s longest-standing promoter-fighter partnerships came to an end, earlier in the year.

But ahead of his WBC welterweight world title showdown with in , Benn insists there is no bad blood towards the man who guided almost his entire professional career.

Asked by SunSport about the fall out with Hearn, Benn, 29, said: “There ain’t nothing that’s happened.

“Ain’t nothing that’s happened.

“I know a lot was said, but my love for Eddie will always be there, irrelevant of all the noise, the drama, the theatrics and the gossip.

“The life I wanted to live and the life I wanted to give my family was on the other side of that deal.

“I ain’t putting nobody before my family.”

Hearn, 47, recently admitted he wants to see Benn fulfill his dream of becoming a world champion by beating Garcia, despite no longer promoting him, saying in his own words that he is “backing the Brit.”

And the unbeaten Essex fighter admitted he had not even seen the comments until they were mentioned during his interview.

He said: “I’ve not seen it personally, so to hear that is warming.

“When all is said and done, I’d love to sit down with Eddie and just have a chat, so, It’s really nice to hear.”

Benn signed with Matchroom shortly after turning professional in 2016 and developed into one of British boxing’s biggest attractions under Hearn’s guidance.

Together, they navigated sold-out stadiums, headline events, and the darkest chapter of Benn’s career – standing by him through a two-year battle to save his career following failed drug tests.

The pair eventually went their separate ways after Benn opted to join Hearn’s rival, Dana White, and his ambitious Zuffa Boxing venture.

But despite the headlines surrounding their split, Benn insists the decision was never personal.

Instead, he says it came down to one thing – his family.

With the biggest fight of his career now just weeks away, Benn’s message suggests the door remains firmly open for reconciliation with the promoter who helped build his career.

And once the dust settles, the Destroyer hopes the pair can put the noise behind them and share one final conversation.
