A 17-YEAR-OLD boy and a 19-year-old man have been arrested over an arson attack on a synagogue.

The synagogue in Harrow, London, suffered smoke damage after it was targeted in the attack last night.

A “bottle filled with accelerant” is understood to have been thrown through one of the place of worship’s windows, landing in an internal room, according to the Community Security Trust (CST).

and fire crews were scrambled to the scene after cops on a reassurance patrol passed the building and noticed smoke pouring from one of the rooms.

No injuries or significant structural damage have been reported as a result of the attack.
