TWO people have died in a crash between a camper van and lorry, as police appeal for witnesses to the collision.
The smash took place on the A358 near a village in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency Services were called to reports of a white Bongo being involved in a collision with a lorry in Combe Florey, near Taunton.
Despite their best efforts, the two occupants of the Mazda were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The A road is currently facing closures from the Bishops Lydeard junction at Station Road to Coggins Lane, Combe Florey while enquiries continue.
Avon and Somerset has asked that any witnesses to the crash get in touch on 5226279615 or complete an online appeals form.
The families have been updated, and they are being offered support by a specialist officer.
