Beşiktaş have announced that Wilfred Ndidi sustained a hamstring injury in Sunday’s Istanbul derby with Fenerbahçe, DAILY POST reports.
Ndidi was substituted in the 85th minute of the thrilling contest.
The Super Eagles captain was booked in the 52nd minute, and has already been suspended for this weekend’s clash with Alanyaspor.
It was his fourth booking in the Turkish Super Lig this season.
Beşiktaş announced Ndidi has already started treatment with the club’s medical team.
The 29-year-old is expected to spend time on the sidelines due to the injury.
