A well-known Catholic author, Deacon Nick Donnelly, has urged for the immediate arrest of a controversial Nigerian Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi.

This demand came in response to Gumi’s statements following the United States’ Christmas Day airstrikes targeting insurgents in parts of Sokoto State.

According to DAILY POST, Gumi released a statement on Friday, calling on the Federal Government to cease any collaboration with the US aimed at eliminating those responsible for the alleged genocide against Christians.
