The Federal Government has urged Nigerians to stay calm amid the recent diplomatic tensions between Nigeria and the United States.
This message was conveyed in a statement released on Monday by Rabiu Ibrahim, Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister of Information and National Orientation.
In the statement, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made this appeal on Monday in Dutse, Jigawa State, during a courtesy visit to the state governor, Malam Umar A. Namadi.
Idris reassured citizens that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu possesses the ability and experience to safeguard Nigeria's interests and address any issues affecting the country's international relations.
He stated, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has everything necessary to shield Nigeria from destabilizing forces and to repair any fractures in our nation's relationships with our international friends and partners. I urge Nigerians to remain calm.”
