US President Donald Trump lost his cool after former White House star Karl Rove criticised him live on Fox News.
Rove, who was central to former President George W. Bush’s administration, called Trump “Mr. Scrooge”; during an interview on the network.
“We elected him [Trump ] for a variety of reasons that were important: inflation, the border, DEI, the military, respect for America,”; Rove said.
“[But] things like tweeting out a picture of you as the pope is deeply offensive to a great many people.”;
Rove’s criticism followed an AI-generated selfie Trump shared of himself wearing papal robes after he joked that he’d make a great pope.
Rove also criticised other aspects of Trump’s term in office so far, including the mistaken deportation of a man to El Salvador.
Reacting, Trump, in a post on his Truth Social media account on Monday, labelled Rove as a ‘total loser’.
“I don’t need to have Karl Rove of Fox News to tell me what to do,”; Trump said.
“The guy’s a total Loser who’s been wrong about almost everything!”;
