DONALD Trump has issued a 15-point peace plan to Iran, calling on the Islamic Republic to abandons its nuclear ambitions and sever ties with terror groups across the region.
The President’s envoys and Steve Witkoff are reportedly working on the rough outline of a framework which would finally bring the bitter conflict in the to an end.

The 15-point-plan would include “the declaration of a monthlong ceasefire period, during which the sides would negotiate,” sources told Israel’s Channel 12.
The proposal is thought to be based on Trump’s Gaza deal and has been confirmed by two officials briefed on the talks, the New York Times reported .
It includes provisions that dismantles all of its nuclear and long-range missile capabilities, as well as opening the Strait of Hormuz.
The authoritarian regime would also be required to cut ties with proxy terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah.
The plan does include some benefits for Iran, including US assistance with advancing its civilian nuclear program.
What’s more, all sanctions imposed by the international community would be lifted.
Pakistan has now delivered the plan to Iranian officials who have 24 hours to respond, Haaretz reported.
This comes after Trump said earlier on Tuesday that .
Speaking with reporters in the Oval Office, the President said: “They’re talking to us, and they’re talking sense.
“I don’t want to say in advance, but they’ve agreed they will never have a nuclear weapon.”
Trump even insisted Iran had given the US a “very big present”.

He did not say what the gift could be but did reveal it was “oil and gas-related”.
“They did something yesterday that was amazing, actually. They gave us a present, and the present arrived today,” Trump said.
“It was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of , and I’m not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize.

- Iran must dismantle its entire nuclear programme.
- Iran must make a binding commitment never to develop nuclear weapons.
- All uranium enrichment on Iranian soil must cease.
- Iran must transfer its stockpile of roughly 450kg of 60% enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency under an agreed timetable.
- The nuclear facilities at Natanz, Isfahan and Fordo must be decommissioned.
- The UN’s nuclear watchdog must be granted unrestricted access, full transparency and continuous oversight within Iran.
- Iran must abandon its system of regional proxy influence.
- Iran must end all funding, direction and arming of proxy groups across the region.
- The Strait of Hormuz must remain open and operate as a free and secure maritime corridor.
- Iran’s missile programme must be strictly limited in range and scale, with defined thresholds agreed in due course.
- Any future missile use must be confined strictly to self-defence.
- Iran would receive the full lifting of all international sanctions.
- The United States would support the development of Iran’s civilian nuclear programme, including electricity generation at the Bushehr plant.
- The ‘snapback’ mechanism – allowing for the automatic reimposition of sanctions in the event of non-compliance – would be permanently removed.

Trump has come under increasing pressure to end the war in the Middle East due to rising oil prices.
The price of oil has skyrocketed ever since Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump wrote on Truth Social yesterday that the US and Iran had held “very good and productive conversations” aimed at ending hostilities in the Middle East.
Iranian officials have flatly denied any negotiations with the US, contradicting any claim of a breakthrough.
Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said: “No negotiations whatsoever were held with the United States, and fake news is being used to manipulate the financial markets and oil markets and to escape the quagmire in which the US and Israel are stuck.”

Experts fear a full-scale war that could send global markets into meltdown.
“The other side, I can tell you, they’d like to make a deal,” Trump said.
“Who wouldn’t if you were them? Their navy’s gone, their air force is gone, their communications… all of their anti-aircraft, their missiles.
“Can you name a single thing that’s not gone? Or one thing that’s doing well?”
“We are roaming free over Tehran. We can do whatever we want.”
“We’ve won this war. This war has been won,” Trump added.
