PRESIDENT Trump has severed ties with his long-time ally Marjorie Taylor Greene due to her “outlandish” request to release all the Epstein files.

He referred to the Georgia Representative as a “lunatic” and has officially withdrawn his support for her – reportedly after receiving a text message from her.

Trump expressed his frustration on Truth Social: “I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ from the Great State of Georgia.

“All I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!”

Greene – once a strong supporter of Trump – has diverged from the President on several issues in recent weeks, including the Affordable Care Act.

She shared a screenshot of a text message to Trump, which she claims was the reason for the public reprimand.

The message reads: “For many of us, releasing the Epstein files has always been for the women who were victims of Jeffrey Epstein, but also because we believed that Democrat wrongdoers like the Clintons were involved with him.”

Greene expressed her anger that Trump had “attacked” and “lied about” her, claiming she had made unanswered calls.

Trump suggested that Greene's loyalty began to fade when he indicated she would not be suitable for higher office.

He stated: “It seemed to all begin when I sent her a poll indicating she should not run for Senate or Governor, as she was at 12% and had no chance (unless, of course, she had my endorsement — which she was not about to receive!).”

The President implied that she was frustrated about his lack of response to her calls.

He continued: “She has told many people that she is upset that I don’t return her phone calls anymore, but with 219 Congressmen/women, 53 U.S. Senators, 24 Cabinet Members, almost 200 countries, and an otherwise normal life to lead, I can’t take a ranting lunatic’s call every day.”

His post also indicated his willingness to support another, more loyal Republican candidate to challenge Greene in the primaries.

“I understand that wonderful, conservative individuals are considering primarying Marjorie in her Georgia District, that they too are fed up with her and her antics, and if the right person runs, they will have my complete and unwavering support,” he wrote.

Greene is one of only four Republican representatives to have signed a discharge petition that forced a vote to be scheduled on whether to mandate the release of all the files.

The petition gained its 218th signature on Wednesday – achieving a majority.

The Speaker of the House announced shortly thereafter that the vote – regarding whether to compel the Justice Department’s action – will be held next week.

According to the rules, Johnson could have delayed the vote until early December but chose to expedite it.

A significant defection of Republican lawmakers is anticipated during the vote – potentially more than 100 of the House’s 219 – indicating that the motion is likely to pass.
