Troops of the Joint Task Force, Operation Hadarin Daji, have recovered arms and motorcycles during offensive operations in parts of Kachia and Kajuru Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.
The development was disclosed in a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama via his X handle.
According to the report, the troops conducted cordon-and-search operations at Gada Naji, Wake, Insame and Kabode general areas on Wednesday.
Contact was made with terrorists between Kabode and Abrum Forest areas but they fled on sighting the advancing forces. Items recovered included three motorcycles, three Baofeng radios and a mobile phone.
The report further stated that the troops engaged fleeing terrorists escaping across a river line towards Mai-Ido axis but could not pursue further due to the difficult terrain.
It added that similar clearance operations were carried out in Kajuru LGA covering Maraban Kajuru, Kasuwa Magani, Rimau, Kallah, Gefe, Sabon Gari Afogo and surrounding communities.
